Teen Arrested After Napalm, Fake Bomb Found

A 15-year-old in Titusville, Fla., was arrested Friday after police found napalm, chemicals used to make explosive devices and a fake bomb inside his home.
Titusville police reportedly received a tip from concerned parents in the neighborhood that Zachary Pridgen might be making destructive devices at 2921 Cooper Drive in Titusville.
A search of Pridgen's residence uncovered evidence that the teen had already made napalm and had napalm in his possession, according to a police report. Also found were chemicals used to make explosive devices.
Investigators said no explosive devices were found completely assembled, but a fake or hoax bomb
was located in the refrigerator.
Pridgen apparently acquired knowledge of explosive devices from the Internet, police reported.
Pridgen's parents were present at the time the warrant was served and have been very cooperative with investigators.
Police believe several of Pridgen's friends knew about what he was doing and were also gaining interest in such activities.
Pridgen has been charged with attempting to make a destructive device and planting of a hoax
bomb.
