Four rare Manul kittens are the newest addition to Berlin's Friedrichsfelde Zoo's cat collection, according to a report.

The four endangered Manul kittens -- one male and three females -- made their first appearance Wednesday since being born at the Berlin zoo.
They are native to the mountains of Afghanistan and Mongolia.
The cats are often hunted for their fur, the longest and thickest of any cat
species.
Once mature, these cats will be sent to other zoos around the world as
part of a breeding designed to save the species.
