Lightning Strikes Progress Energy Worker

An employee of Progress Energy in Seminole County, Fla., was injured after being hit lightning during a storm in the area, according to Local 6 News.The unidentified worker was at the corner of Markham Woods and Long Ponds Road when he was struck.Seminole County rescue crews have transported the victim to a hospital. There is no word on his condition.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
