Residents in Marion and Lake counties may hear the sounds of live explosions Monday afternoon, according to Local 6 News.
The U.S. Navy has announced live ordinance training this week at the Pinecastle bombing range in the Ocala National Forest.
Jets from Jacksonville, Fla., will drop bombs between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. each afternoon, according to the report.
The Navy drops 20,000 bombs a year at Pinecastle -- which covers 6,000 acres of the forest.
The navy has set up a noise complaint line (800) 874-5059.
