38 Special cancels performance at SeaWorld

Band cites 'Blackfish' documentary as reasoning, according to Facebook page

ORLANDO, Fla. – An eighth band has pulled its performance at SeaWorld's Bands, Brews and BBQ on Monday.

38 Special is canceling its March 2014 performance at SeaWorld, "due to concerns raised by the CNN documentary 'Blackfish,' according to the band's Facebook page.

"We appreciate the outpouring of support and especially apologize to our Orlando fans," the band wrote. "We will try and schedule another performance in your area in the near future."

Seven other artists have canceled their performances following the airing of controversial documentary 'Blackfish,' including Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, REO Speedwagon, Willie Nelson and Barenaked Ladies.

It's not clear how many bands remain on the lineup.
