The Orange County sheriff's deputy caught on tape urinating in a public elevator will appeal his firing Monday, Local 6 News has learned.

Deputy Carl Brown, 40, will appear at an appeal hearing Monday, according to the report.

Complaints of a foul odor prompted the manager of R & R Limited public parking garage to set up a surveillance camera. When the manager and police checked the tape, they spotted Brown urinating in and on the elevator, according to a Local 6 News report.

The manager said Brown was constantly relieving himself inside the elevator, Local 6 News reported.

Brown claims medical documents will prove he suffers from a condition that causes him to urinate frequently and sometimes uncontrollably.

Brown's family contends his actions were an involuntary bodily response.

The urine caused about $200 worth of damage to the elevator, according to Local 6 News.
