Couple fighting in domestic dispute

OCOEE, Fla. – A couple involved in a domestic dispute, are accused of stabbing four people who were trying to stop the fight.

The Ocoee Police Department said that Nicholas Matthew Schonwit, 26, and Tiffany Lee Pompino, 25, were involved in a domestic dispute around 2:28 a.m. Sunday outside an Ocoee restaurant/bar.

Officers said that witnesses reported seeing Schonwit punch Pompino in the parking lot. When on-lookers attempted to break up the fight, they allege that  both Schonwit and Pompino pulled knives on the group.

During the altercation four people were stabbed, police said.

Both suspects were booked into the Orange County Jail charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Further charges are pending until the investigation is completed.

Two of the four victims were taken to Orlando Health, and two were taken to Health Central Hospital.
