Central Fla. Officer Charged With Posing As Officer

A law enforcement officer in Central Florida was jailed Tuesday on a charge of posing as a law enforcement officer, according to Local 6 News.

The Eatonville police officer was reportedly jailed following a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation, Local 6 News reported.

Investigators said Steven Allen Hill posed as a state attorney investigator in order to extort money to pay off a friend's debt.

Hill is charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and extortion.
