ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A 33-year-old youth baseball coach in Central Florida was arrested Tuesday for the second time in a month for allegedly molesting one of his 11-year-old players, according to Local 6 News.
Orange County sheriff's deputies said a boy on the Osceola Rage traveling team told them that Edwin Vasquez molested him during a team trip.
Vasquez, who is the coach of the Osceola Rage, was arrested again Tuesday.
Orlando police charged Vasquez last month for lewd and lascivious conduct on another boy who is also on the team.
Investigators said the boys' stories are very similar.
"This is an individual who found his grove," Orange County Sheriff's Detective Samara Melich said. "He has one particular type of individuals he goes after and they are all in one place on this Little League team."
The boy's mother said there were signs that something was wrong with her son after the trip.
"He was distant, cold, mean about things and we couldn't figure out what was going on," the unidentified woman said.
Police believe there are other victims who are too afraid to speak up, Local 6 News reported.
Vasquez remains in the Orange County Jail
