Christopher Mitchell, 42, was arrested Friday on a charge of possession of cannabis in excess of 20 grams.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled Mitchell and Keithian Roberts over in Osteen because Mitchell wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Mitchell said he was too big to wear a seat belt, but deputies noticed that the duo became nervous, according to the Sheriff's Office.

A K-9 alerted deputies to drugs and a bag of cocaine, a gun and a large sum of money in a tube sock was discovered inside the vehicle, a sheriff's report said.

About 23 grams of marijuana were then found in Mitchell's stomach fat, said deputies.

Mitchell and Roberts were arrested and taken to the Volusia County Jail.
