A 64-year-old woman in Lake County, Fla., was arrested for allegedly shooting her sleeping husband in the head and then killing his dog, police told Local 6 News.

A 64-year-old woman in Lake County, Fla., is arrested for allegedly shooting her sleeping husband in the head and then killing his dog.

Police said Codelle Borgman shot her husband three times in the head and once in the abdomen at close range while he was in bed.

She then allegedly killed the man's dog.

Borgman is charged with first-degree murder.

The shooting is still being investigated.
