SANOFRD, Fla. -

Five people were injured Tuesday morning in a head-on crash in Sanford, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The multi-vehicle crash happened around 6:50 a.m. near the intersection of State Road 415 and Celery Avenue.

Troopers said at four vehicles were involved in the crash and five victims were taken to hospitals.

Southbound S.R. 415 was closed at Celery Avenue after the crash.

No other details have been released.
