HIALEAH, Fla. -

You have probably heard of Noah's Ark--but you've probably never seen one.

You will soon to be able to, if you head to Hialeah. That is where a group is behind the construction of a Biblical-themed zoo to be called "Hidden Ark".

The ark is about one-fifth of the way through construction. It is being built almost exactly to the specifications in the Old Testament, according to the builders, meaning it is 500 feet long, shaped like a boat, and made out of wood.

Once opened, the park will include an on-site veterinary clinic, stables, garden, petting zoo, coffee shop, and a mission to spread concern for animals and the planet.

Zoo members will be able to view streaming footage of the zoo and animals online, sponsor species and donate animals. They will also be able to keep a watch over their investments, because there will be cameras covering the grounds.

At the moment, the group is trying to raise funds via a Kickstarter fundraising page. At last check, they had raised $214 of their $1,500,000 goal.

They said the funds will enable them to complete the park, and assist them in helping any and all animals they can.

So far, there is no word on when the construction will be complete, or when the park is set to open.
