Police in Winter Park, Fla., released a composite photo of a man believed to have robbed a Steak 'N Shake restaurant at gunpoint while wearing a mask from the horror movie "Scream."
Investigators said the man entered the restaurant located on Semoran Boulevard and Aloma Avenue near Winter Park and demanded money.
He then forced employees into a walk-in freezer, Local 6 News reporter Vanessa Medina said.
"He told one of our servers, Cyndia, to get into the freezer and she freaked out," restaurant employee Joanna Richardson said.
Workers said the man knew too much about restaurant and may have known someone who worked at the restaurant.
"He hit all of the registers and took all of the money out," restaurant employee Jason Swank said. "He knew the combination to the safe and got all of the money out of the safe. It bugs me because I'm afraid it will happen again.
The culprit escaped from the restaurant by climbing out of a drive-through window.
