A new hybrid mix designer dog that is a cross between a pug and a beagle is the new must-have dog in New York City and other cities, according to a Local 6 News report.

The "puggle" dogs have a short snout and fur like a pug with the big brown eyes and droopy ears of the beagle.
Kennel owners said they are selling for up to $900 each in some cities.According to the New York Post, the dogs are one of the most popular dogs for families in the city.A report said cross-breeding can produce a dog with allergy-safe fur.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
