ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- An Orange County man wanted for allegedly stabbing his 14-year-old son, daughter and wife in an apparent fit of anger over a cell phone was taken into custody Wednesday night without incident.
Members from the Orange County Sheriff's felony squad arrested Will Dalton at state Road 50 and Interstate 95 Wednesday night.
Investigators said Dalton came home and got into an argument with his wife, Ritnama, over a cell phone inside their Cypress Lake Apartments in Waterford Tuesday night.
When the argument turned physical, Dalton's son, Mark, 14, came to the aid of his mother and began to fight with his father, according to a police report.
The teen was stabbed during the altercation and then ran out of the house and began knocking on a neighbor's door, the police report said.
When deputies arrived, they found Ritnama and Christina Dalton stabbed.
Witness Faroug Abdalal said the scene outside apartment I-305 was gruesome and bloody.
The women were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in very serious condition, Garcia said. The teen had a less serious stabbing injury.
Dalton was transported to the Orange County Jail to face attempted murder charges, according to the police report.
He has refused to speak to investigators and is not cooperating with authorities, the report said.
