A six-legged lamb born in a tiny village in the republic of Georgia is winning international fame.

The lamb was born in the village of Velistsikhe with four legs in the front and two in the back, and appears to have at least partial control of each one, according to the Daily Mail.

The lamb also appears to be a hermaphrodite, with both male and female sex organs.

Shepherd Albert Abadzhanov told the newspaper Trend that the lamb is having some trouble walking, but appears to be fine and developing normally.

In his 25 years of shepherding, he's never seen such a case.

"I have been asking the other shepherds, but none of them remember such [a] case. There were three-legged lambs, one-eyed, but not [a] six legged, bisexual one," Abadzhanov said.

Veterinarian Otto Zardiashvili told Trend that the six-legged lamb is an anomaly.

"Most probably there were twins, but then the embryos were united, and we've got a strange lamb," he said.
