Deputies said the Metro PCS burglary was reported on July 19 at the store on North Orange Blossom Trail. A man was seen on video throwing a large slab of concrete and shattering the front window.

Five juveniles then followed the man into the store, according to deputies, taking five smartphones, one wireless speaker and a cash register containing $100 cash.

The burglars then jumped a fence and into a gray four-door vehicle, deputies said.

Winter Park police also reported a similar case on July 20 at T-Mobile on South Orlando Avenue believed to have been the same people, according to deputies. Police said the man smashed the front door and took a cash register with no cash and a laptop.

Deputies said the culprits were wearing the same clothing in both burglaries.
