Car Hits Daytona Beach Officer On Motorcycle

A police officer remained hospitalized Wednesday after being hit by a car, according to a Local 6 News report.

Investigators said the Daytona Beach officer was on a motorcycle when he was hit on Interstate 95 in Ormond Beach, Fla., at about 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The officer's name was not released.

He was flown to Halifax Medical Center but his condition was not reported.
