SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – The SPCA announced they would be adopting out 65 dogs that were rescued from a filthy home in Altamonte Springs on Thursday.

The SPCA said after careful consideration and medical assessment, Seminole County Animal Services and the SPCA of Central Florida (Orlando Location) would hold a special adoption event this for approximately 65 of the 117 dogs, which were seized on Thursday.

Officials said the dogs, which appeared healthy and are adjusting well, were placed up for adoption on a first come, first serve basis.

Officials began the adoption at 10 a.m. at the Seminole County Animal Services building located at 232 Bush Boulevard in Sanford.

Adoption prices varied in price depending on the residency of the adopter.
