Man Angry With Car Price Sets Dealership On Fire
Investigators said Gerald Georgettis had just purchased a new Ford Escape from a Miami dealership.After the purchase, police said Georgettis drove the vehicle into the dealership and doused it with gasoline. He then set it on fire, causing $1 million in damage. Miami-Dade police said Georgettis was angry about the price he paid for the Escape, Local 6 News reported.Similar vehicles cost around $20,000, but it was not known who much Georgettis paid for his car.Georgettis was charged with first-degree arson and a felony criminal mischief.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
