The theft was caught by surveillance cameras at the store on the corner of Silver Star and Clark roads in August of 2014.

Charlotte Dunaway, 74, said Publix failed to provide proper security for its customers. She said an employee spotted all three suspects in the women's restroom, but did not escort them out of the store.

During the mugging, Dunaway hit her head on the concrete and ended up spending time in the hospital.

She is seeking more than $15,000 in damages.
