Guidry ,30, walked off a commerical plane from Dallas and into his mother's arms after enduring 11 days on a Chinese island. "It was scary," Guidry said of the ordeal. "We didn't know what they would do. We were all nervous trying to figure out what was going to happen. We just went day by day, minute by minute." Guidry's mom, Sandy, who earlier said that she was "baffled" about why Chinese officials wouldn't release the crew, thanked the community for their support. "I can't express how wonderful everyone has been to me. How they have all supported me with the yellow ribbons," Guidry said.

When WKMG News asked Scott Guidry what he planned on doing first when he got back to his home in Satellite Beach, Fla, he said "Go to the beach." Guidry is up for reassignment in September. The navy informed Guidry that he has his choice of duty, according to WKMG News. Previous Story:
