Investigators in Daytona Beach, Fla., confirmed a link between three unsolved homicides in the city Monday, believing the slayings were likely committed by the same person.

The city's most recent homicide was 35-year-old Iwana Patton from Holly Hill, whose body was found last month in some woods near Williamson Boulevard and Mason Avenue.

An anonymous caller led police to Patton's body but refused to give any other information to the dispatcher.

Julie Green and Laquetta Gunther were killed in December.

Capt. Brian Skipper of the Criminal Investigations Division confirmed the cases are officially being investigated together.

No other details of the investigation were released.

Friday, authorities warned people attending this year's Bike Week celebration to avoid getting into cars with strangers since the three women were last seen getting into vehicles.

All of the homicides were committed on Friday nights.

The Daytona Beach Police Department along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the state attorney's office are pursuing several leads in the case, according to the report.

If you have any information concerning these crimes, you are urged to call Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS.
