Attorney: Legal Team Has Uncovered New Evidence

Boy, Grandmother Missing Since May 12

An attorney for the family of a missing 77-year-old grandmother and a 10-year old boy was meeting with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office Tuesday about alleged new evidence in the mystery.

Prominent Orlando defense attorney Cheney Mason recently appeared at a news conference with Joanne and John Miller. The Millers shared a home with Joshua Bryant and Lillian Martin in Deltona. It is not known what evidence Mason presented Tuesday, but investigators have been searching for any leads that could help solve the mystery. Fox's "America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back" featured a small segment on Joshua and his grandmother over the weekend. However, operators for the show have only received five calls as of Monday concerning the case, according to WKMG News. There's no question that national exposure has the potential to be "extremely important," Volusia County Sheriff's Office spokesman Gary David said.

Joanne Miller Attorney Says He Has Uncovered Evidence

"We still do not know what we're dealing with," he said before the show aired, pointing out that "the next tip can come from absolutely anywhere. Someone has some information out there. They have to. And we're hopeful this will shake loose more information." The Deltona mystery was part of a four-minute "APB" (all points bulletin) segment that aired about 20 minutes into the hour-long show. Anyone with information about Joshua Bryant and Lillian Martin can call Crime Stoppers of Volusia County toll free at (888) 277-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous and receive rewards of up to $1,000.
