ORLANDO, Fla. - After a brief spell of cooler weather, temperatures in Central Florida are on the rise again.
The high temperature on Wednesday will reach 80 degrees in Orlando, and there's a 10 percent coverage area of rain, mostly to the north of the city.
"We could use a lot more rain," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Some of us we'll see a few showers. Most of us will not."
The overnight low will drop to 58 degrees, but the warm weather is here to stay for the next several days, Bridges said.
The high on Thursday and Friday will hover near 80 degrees, with lows in the lower 60s.
"More rain chances are in the forecast in the coming days," said Bridges, who forecast a 20 percent chance on Thursday and a 30 percent chance on Friday.
The weekend will see highs in the upper 70s, with lows in the upper 50s.
