Family's Missing Woman Signs Bring Motorists To Tears
For more than a week, members of the Kesse family have been standing at the intersection of John Young Parkway and Americana in Orlando during morning and evening rush hour holding signs with photos of their missing daughter."Some motorists are moved to tears and others stop to chat," Local 6 reporter Louis Bolden said."Someone asked us the other day, 'How long do you think you are going to be here?'" mother Joyce Kesse said. "We just said, 'As long as it takes.'" "She is ours, she is our daughter" Kesse's father, Drew, said. "It is our responsibility to find her above anyone else's."The intersection where the family is standing is near where their daughter's car was found abandoned two months ago.The family said they have had two months of heartache."The hundreds of volunteers are no longer with the Kesses and there are no more police searches," Bolden said. "These days they are all alone doing their job.""We are not going to stop," Joyce Kesse said. "Jen knows that."Kesse has been missing from Orlando since Jan. 24. Anyone with information concerning her disappearance is urged to call (800) 423-TIPS (8477).Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
