Prostitute Arrests Pick Up On Waning Serial Killer Fears
The report said the women offered officers, who were posing as customers, sexual favors in exchange for money along North and South Ridgewood Avenue.The Daytona Beach News Journal reported Friday that investigators believe prostitutes could be losing their fear of the streets.Daytona Beach Capt. Brian Skipper told the Daytona Beach News Journal that it is possible that many of the women may feel more comfortable coming out.
In recent weeks, investigators have questioned several people concerning the deaths of Iwana Patton, Laquetta Gunther and Julie Green. The three women are believed to have entered the killer's vehicle before they were found shot to death.However, tips and leads have begun to dwindle in the case, CourtTV reported Thursday.Police continue to warn people against getting into cars with strangers.All of the women arrested this week were booked into Volusia County Branch Jail.
