A teacher in Coffeeville, Ala., has been charged with having sex with at least four students from Coffeeville High School, involving at least one of them in a plot to kill her husband, police said.

Police said Sharon Linton Rutherford, 30, was arrested in connection with the accusations.A sheriff's detective said two of the four apparent victims were under the age of 16. Authorities are investigating to see if any more students have been involved.The charges Rutherford faces include solicitation of murder, first-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse and two counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes.Rutherford remains in the Clarke County Jail with bond set at $55,000.A school official said Rutherford was placed on administrative leave from her position as an English teacher until the case is completed.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
