Serial Killer Link Checked After Woman's Body Found
Workers discovered the body of Lori Clark, 31, at a new subdivision off Boggy Creek Road.Investigators are not saying how Clark was killed -- only that it was violent."It was an opportunity," Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Solomons said. "I can't say what happened. I can't get into the head of the assailant to say why he or she went there."Investigators said Clark had a history of prostitution."They are looking into the possibility that Clark was murdered by a serial killer who killed three prostitutes in Daytona Beach," Local 6's Jacqueline London said.The serial killer's last victim was killed at the end of February.Anyone with information concerning the homicides is urged to call Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
