Fla. Woman Infected With HIV Charged In Biting Incident

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A northwest Jacksonville woman was charged with assault after biting another woman while knowingly infected with the HIV virus, according to WJXT-TV in Jacksonville.
According to investigators, 29-year-old Marcia Davis approached the victim Monday as she sat in the back seat of a parked car.
Officers said Davis yanked the victim out of the car, and smashed a bottle against the woman's forehead. According to the police report, Davis then bit the woman's thumb, WJXT-TV reported.
Police said Davis admitted to both being HIV-positive and biting the victim.
Davis has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
There was no word on what led up to the fight.
