Interns in the WKMG Newsroom will gain valuable industry experience. They will learn the internal functions of the Newsroom.
Main responsibilities include:
Gathering Information for Newscasts Researching Stories Assisting Show Producers and Reporters Setting Up Interviews and Handling Incoming Calls Students will work very closely with the Assignment Editors, Producers, Reporters, Editors and Photographers on both spot news and planned stories. Qualifications:
Must be a Junior or Senior in College in a Broadcasting, Journalism or Communications Program Must be Responsible – Prompt Attendance is Required Must Have Ability to Take Direction Must Have a Willingness to Learn Must be Able to Work Under Pressure Must Earn College Credit Letter of Recommendation is Required from Instructor Please mail or fax your resume to:
