Candice Coleman

Candice came to WKMG Local New 6 in September of 2001, and since then, she has given the entertainment beat an extra spark.

Candice has done everything from swimming with dolphins to being attacked by police dogs. As a feature reporter who appears on live television, Candice knows to expect the unexpected…even from herself.

For instance, during one of her reports, her mouth got ahead of her brain. "I said massage kills instead of stress kills, and I couldn't control my laughter," Candice said.

Ms. Coleman's warm personality can be traced to her origins. Her home is the Midwest. Candice was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Her family includes her father, mother, and two brothers. She graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis.

Candice has simple tastes.

When she dines out, she likes to grab a meal at the Waffle House. Candice also likes movies (her favorite is "Staying Alive" starring John Travolta). Among her many interests is a fascination with space travel.

Candice's life at home includes taking care of her dog, "Topher", and her cat, "Jazzy."
