Teen Arrested After Classmate Found Shot In Head

Authorities in Sanford, Fla., arrested a high school student Sunday night after his classmate was found shot in the head on the side of a busy road over the weekend, according to Local 6 News.
Investigators said a family was driving west along state Road 417 and spotted Mitchell Weiner lying near a late model maroon car and another man standing nearby.
The family became suspicious when the car sped away after they passed, leaving Weiner on the ground.
A short time later, deputies with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office investigated and found the teen shot in the head.
Weiner was last seen alive was at a football practice at Lake Brantley High School.
After an investigation, police arrested Brian Harvey in connection with the shooting, Local 6 News has learned.
"The details of what happened to Weiner after he left Saturday's football scrimmage at 11 a.m. are still being pieced together by investigators," Local 6 reporter Deborah Garcia said.
