Police in Orlando, Fla., are investigating the city's 36th homicide of the year after a home invasion in Pine Hills, according to a Local 6 News report.

Investigators said they believe a man in his 50s living inside a home located at 3728 Kitty Hawk Ave. in Pine Hills was fatally injured during a home invasion.

"The woman he was living with found him suffering from type of wound that ended up being fatal at some time before 5 a.m.," Local 6's Samantha Knapp said.

Crime scene investigators are trying to determine a motive Monday.

"Right now, there is very little information coming from the Orlando Police Department," Knapp said.

Neighbors said the couple had just moved into the home
