Investigators in Leesburg, Fla., continued to reconstruct a timeline in the hours before a missing 2-year-old vanished from his home, according to a police report.
Trenton Duckett was last seen in his room at 7 p.m. Sunday. His parents first noticed he was missing around 9 p.m. Leesburg police said a screen on a window in the boy's room was cut and that he was apparently taken through the opening.
An investigation determined Trenton may have been with his mother, Melinda Duckett on Saturday and Sunday prior to his abduction, a police report said Wednesday.
Police continued to ask anyone who may have seen Melinda Duckett, Trenton or his father Joshua Duckett on Aug. 26 or 27 to call 800-CALL-FBI.
"We have reports of where Trenton was," Leesburg police Captain Steve Rockefeller said. "We want to get confirmation of where Trenton was. That is the need for the reconstruction."
"I've given my whole story," Joshua Duckett said. "I've cooperated. Everything that I've been doing, and so far they are satisfied with what they found."
Duckett said he performed well on a lie detector test about the case.
Law enforcement said Mark Lunsford, father of Jessica Lunsford, traveled to Leesburg to meet with and his family.
Lunsford is offering his support to the family and is assisting with flyers.
