A 16-year-old in Palm Bay, Fla., is accused of hitting a teacher in the back of the head on a $10 bet from another student, according to a police report.Police said two teachers at Riverdale Country School reported hearing a student make an unusual offer to another teen."I'll pay you if you hit Mr. Gene," a teacher said he heard.The report said $10 was believed to have been exchanged between the students and the teacher was later attacked.Both students were taken into police custody.The 16-year-old who allegedly hit the teacher was charged with battery on a school board employee.The other 16-year-old faces a misdemeanor charge of conspiracy to commit battery on a school board employee.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
