Firefighters said roofers may be to blame for a house fire that left a family in Orlando, Fla., homeless early Friday, according to Local 6 News.
Authorities said roof work was under way on a home at 2503 Betty Street before the fire. It appears that a propane tank was left near roofing material that was combustible, firefighters said.
"The combination smoldered until flames broke out," Local 6's Samantha Knapp said.
The flames caused structural damage inside and outside the home.
There were no injuries in connection with the case and the family's dog was pulled from the house.
