Accused sex offender claims to receive 'brainwave messages' from Justin Bieber
Man caught trespassing at high school swim meet blames pop star
An accused sex offender was arrested during a Riverside high school swim meet after telling officers he received "a brainwave message" from Justin Bieber telling him to go to the school to see kids.
Rockford Illinois resident Lawrence E. Adamczyk, 49, told officers he originally planned to go to the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, Illinois, to look for young boys to victimize, but when he passed Riverside Brookfield High School, he said he received a "message" from the pop star to go there instead, according to WGNTV.com.
Adamczyk was walking the hallways of the school when he was confronted by security staff. Security called police and officers found the man sitting in the bleachers watching the swim meet. He admitted to masturbating while watching the meet before police arrived.
Riverside Police Chief Thomas Weitzel says in the statement, “Adamczyk has several prior arrests including an indication on his current parole status that he had prior sex offenses. I ordered my personnel to contact the Illinois Department of Corrections and request his parole status be revoked due to this arrest in Riverside.”
Adamczyk is charged with one count of criminal trespass to land and one count of disorderly conduct.
