All-Star events bring traffic, security to Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Tens of thousands of people are expected to descend on downtown Orlando for All-Star Weekend from Friday to Sunday. That means drivers should expect heavy traffic and delays on roads throughout downtown and also on Interstate 4 and State Road 408.

Some All-Star activities will also take place at the Orange County Convention Center, so expect heavier than normal traffic along International Drive as well.

Attendees will also notice that security around downtown Orlando is beefed up. Orlando police are cracking down on illegal parking and limiting the number of spaces close to the Amway Center.
