Altamonte Springs police are searching for the suspect who they say approached a 14-year-old girl walking home from school in Seminole County.

Police said the girl was walking home from Lake Brantley High School when she said she was approached by a man in a pick up truck at State Road 434, near San Marie Avenue.

Police said the man made comments to her in Spanish, asking her to get in, and that she felt uncomfortable. The girl then walked to a neighbor's home and called police.

Seminole County Sheriff's deputies also reported a suspicious man doing the same thing about an hour later.

Police said the man was Hispanic, driving a white pickup truck with a homemade wooden bed.

The man was described as being 30 or 40-years-old, tan skinned with dark hair. 
Police are asking anyone with information to call Altamonte Springs police or the Seminole County Sheriff's office.
