A 39-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in Orlando in the shooting deaths of two men.
Laureano Romero was arrested around 5:45 p.m. in the deaths of 21-year-old Nick Lewis and 22-year-old Deangelo Cox, who were found shot to death Tuesday inside a home in Taft. Romero faces two counts of first-degree murder.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said Romero was a resident of 203 4th Street in Taft, where the bodies were found.
Police say Romero has a lengthy criminal history, but his motive for shooting the two is unknown.
