DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -

Firefighters contained a fast-moving brush fire in Volusia County.

The fire broke out Thursday afternoon about 3 miles south of State Road 40, west of Interstate 95 near Daytona Beach.

The fire, which scorched about 60 acres, moved to the southeast, and firefighters from Volusia County and the Florida Forest Service battled the blaze.

No homes or structures are located near the fire.

Video from Local 6 helicopter Sky 6 showed the fire burning near some power lines, but the blaze moved away from the area.
