Burger King expands coffee line
Fast food chain now offering twice as many coffee products
Move over, Dunkin' Donuts, there is a new serious contender for a quick and easy cup of coffee in town.
Burger King company officials announced a massive upgrade of their coffee offering Tuesday. They are switching to Smooth Roast, a 100% Latin American arabica-bean blend custom ground for it by Seattle's Best.
The popular fast food chain will now have twice the amount of coffee beverages, with 10 total on the menu. Choices will include espresso-based latté beverages, brewed coffees and iced coffees. The store will also have a new decaf variety and new hot chocolate.
A Burger King spokesperson said customers can expect the roll out by mid-March in roughly 8,400 U.S. stores.
