$185 million project could create 100 jobs on Space Coast

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -

A U.S. Navy project along the Space Coast is expected to generate dozens of new jobs in Brevard County.

Local 6 News partner Florida Today reports the construction is currently underway on what will be a large missile testing facility  at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The project is aimed at consolidating  work currently done at several testing sites around the country.

The $185-million expansion could create as many as 100 jobs within three years. The project is also expected to create temporary construction jobs.
