ORLANDO, Fla. -

Officials are on scene assessing the damage after a car crashed into an apartment building in Orange County.

Orlando Fire Department officials said the car crashed into the Catalina Isle Apartments on LB McLeod Road.

Four apartments were affected, with three of the apartments occupied and one was vacant, according to officials.

Six people were forced out of their apartments and Red Cross was being called out to help with the displaced tenants, officials said.

The cause of the crash has not been released. The driver has been taken to the hospital for issues unrelated to the crash, officials said.
