A judge ruled on Friday that Casey Anthony's civil lawsuit with Zenaida Gonzalez will be postponed until after her criminal appeal.

Judge Lisa Munyon ruled on Friday that the defamation lawsuit against Anthony will be postponed. It's not clear when another trial date will be set. Munyon denied Anthony's motion to throw out punitive damages last week.

Gonzalez shares a similar name to the fictitious nanny whom Anthony said kidnapped her daughter, Caylee, in 2008. Gonzalez claims she could not find a job and her life was in upheaval after being linked to the case. She is suing Anthony for defamation.
