ORLANDO, Fla. -

Central Florida is going to get a cold blast of air Sunday and Monday.

Local 6 forecasters said overnight lows will be in the 30's with highs in the upper 50's and low 60's over the next few days.

Forecasters said temperatures will remain chilly for most of the week.

Officials said due to forecasted low temperatures, the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida has declared Saturday and Sunday as "Cold Nights."  This means that the Coalition will not refuse any person seeking shelter from the cold, regardless of space.

Officials said tropical plants and newly planted seeds in gardens should be covered up and pets should be brought inside during the overnight hours.
