North Atlantic Avenue turned into a parking lot as spectators flocked to Cocoa Beach.
The 29th Annual Air Show kicked off with an amazing site as red, white and blue streamed through the sky as a man parachuted out of a plane flying the American flag.
A helicopter whipped through the sky with turns, flips, loops and dips.
Then the crowd roared for the show stopping Osprey.
Avid air show fan, Frank Lawrence, is helping boost the economy along the beach line, checking in to a Cocoa Beach hotel even though he's from Orlando.
"As a tax payer I'd like to know what kind of bang my buck is buying. The f22, the Osprey, the hornet the marine jump team," said Lawrence.
The 920th Rescue Wing out of Patrick Air Force Base stole the show, climbing down the ladder hanging from a helicopter and swimming to shore.
Thousands turned out to check out the two-day show and couldn't have had clearer skies or better temperatures.
