DCF: Michelle Parker's ex-fiance will keep custody of kids
Family violence investigation closed
The father of missing mother Michelle Parker’s twin children will keep custody, according to a Florida Department of Children and Families release.
DCF said it has concluded its investigation into family violence allegations in the presence of the children as argued at the November 2011 shelter hearing in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court.
That means Dale Smith, Jr., Parker’s ex-fiance and the primary suspect in her disappearance, will keep custody of their 3-year-old twins.
In November, the Circuit Court ruled that the children didn’t need to be removed from Smith's custody after Parker's disappearance on Nov. 17.
Parker was last seen dropping their children off at Smith's condo.
